We're thrilled to introduce the wonderful cast bringing Ratty, Mole, Badger, and the irrepressible Mr Toad to life. Find out more about the wonderful ensemble bringing the Riverbank crew to the stage below:

Toad

Nellie Gawne

Poop poop!

ree

Mole

Ellie Bibby

This is Ellie’s third production with New Stagers, after joining in 2025. Following her performances in ‘The Vagina Monologues’ and the most recent ‘Scene Unseen’, Ellie is really excited to get stuck into life on the riverbank and bring Moley to life!

ree

Ratty

Lara Carroll

This is Lara’s first production with New Stagers. Lara is enjoying being back on stage for the first time since university and very excited to play Rat, having grown up reading the Wind in the Willows with her

ree

Badger

Tom Parker

It’s Tom's debut show with New Stagers, and he is delighted to be treading the boards for the first time since appearing as a king in panto and is ready to marshal his troops and reclaim Toad Hall!!

ree

Chief Weasel

Matilda Moss

This is Matilda’s first production with the New Stagers. She is excited to hit the ground running and bring Chief Weasel’s weaseliness to life!

ree

Weasel Wilfred/Washerwoman

Will Tyrrell

Will has been to Edinburgh Fringe with New Stagers, but this is the greatest challenge of his acting “career” yet, as he gives his vocal cords (and your ears) whiplash from playing Weasel to Washerwoman.

ree

Weasel Norman

Eamonn O'Reilly

Eamonn’s dream acting role has always been Titus Andronicus.

A weasel who thinks he’s a cow is a pretty close second, though.

ree

Otter/ Albert/ Motorist Rupert

Charlie Dybell

Charlie is excited to return to the stage once again with New Stagers, after his deathly debut as Michal in The Pillowman. He has enjoyed the process of bringing comedy and camp into his varying roles in this production

ree

Bargewoman/Car Saleswoman

Maria Estifanos

After starting their run with New Stagers as "waitress" in Scene Unseen, including generous eyerolling and excellent serving of "Coftea" (excellent drink for all ages), Maria is very excited to take on the role of both bargewoman and car saleswoman in this classic story.

Train Driver/Clerk/Herbert Hedgehog

Jacob Simmons

ree

Rabbit Rose/ Motorist Monica/ G’s Daughter

Nora Holmen

Train Driver/Clerk/Herbert Hedgehog

Luke O'Reilly

Magistrate/Robert Rabbit

Colin Sheehan

Colin is a seasoned New Stager, having been a part of the group since 2013. Following recent performances in productions like The Pillowman and The Real Inspector Hound, he is excited to switch gears for his roles as the Magistrate and the lively Robert Rabbit in The Wind in the Willows.

The Wind in the Willows promises to be the perfect antidote to winter gloom - a truly 'Poop-Poop!' evening out.
