Are you a friendly, approachable New Stager with a passion for bringing people together? Do you want to play a key role in shaping the future of our theatre group?
If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you: the New Stagers Committee is looking for a Membership Manager!
What Does the Role Involve?
As our Membership Manager, you’ll be the champion for our most valuable asset—our members. You’ll work to keep our community vibrant, inclusive, and growing.
Here’s a snapshot of what you’ll be doing:
Maintain our member database, help us understand how people engage with New Stagers, and create strategies to keep current members involved (and welcome back familiar faces who’ve lapsed!)
Help bring in fresh energy! You’ll plan fun events, campaigns, and initiatives to attract new talent. We’ll also look to you to help spot gaps in our membership—whether in age, diversity, or specific technical/creative skills—and craft creative ways to fill them.
Keep the Warm Welcome Going: Ensure every newcomer feels at home from day one, and make sure long-time members feel heard through regular touchpoints. You'll be the bridge between our members and the Committee, flagging any concerns so we can address them together.

What’s the commitment?
We keep it manageable! We meet virtually once a month, on the first Monday of the month, to discuss updates, brainstorm ideas, and assign actions.
