Award-Winning Drama and Scenic Success: A Season to Celebrate at New Stagers!

What a year it has been for New Stagers! As we look back on our recent productions, we are absolutely thrilled to share some incredible news from the NODA London District Awards 2026.

The Pillowman Takes Top Honours

We are overjoyed to announce that our production of 'The Pillowman' has won the prestigious Pat Redhead Drama Award for the best production of a play or drama in our district!

Martin McDonagh’s dark masterpiece was a bold choice, and this award is a testament to the incredible vision of the director, Lisa Shaw, the stellar performances from our cast, and the seamless execution by our production team.

Scenic Magic in The Wind in the Willows

The celebrations don't stop there! Our whimsical and imaginative production of 'The Wind in the Willows' has been officially nominated for the Shinfield Players Scenic Design Award.

Bringing the riverbank to life was no small feat. From Toad Hall to the Wild Wood, Rich Allport and the team worked tirelessly to create a world that captured the hearts of both the young and the young-at-heart.

The overall winner of the Scenic Design Award, along with the District Winner certificates, along with the Regional Awards, will be presented on Sunday, 14 June at The Radlett Centre as part of the NODA London AGM and Celebration.
