About the event

Play Summary:

  • "The Pillowman" by Martin McDonagh plunges into a dark world where fiction and reality collide. Katurian, a writer of grim short stories, is interrogated by police in a totalitarian state. His tales eerily mirror recent murders. As the interrogation intensifies, the play reveals Katurian's troubled past and the complex family relationships. The play explores themes of artistic responsibility, censorship, and the harrowing impact of childhood trauma, blurring the lines between storytelling and culpability.

  • Katurian (Male or Female)

  • Michal (Male only)

  • Tupolski (Female or Male)
